LaThaydra Sands has worked in local government for 18 years. During that time, she has had the opportunity to gain hands on experience in the following departments: Administration, Billing, City Clerk, Finance, Human Resource, Planning and Development, Risk management and Stormwater.

She holds several professional certifications/trainings: Finance Officer (Level I and Level II), Human Resource Manager, Crisis Coordinator, Municipal Revenue, Regional Economic & Leadership Development and Bachelor's Degree in Science with a major in Accounting.

Although LaThaydra is not originally from Monticello, she has been in this community for 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending times with her family and crafting.
