Use of City Parks: Funderburg Park, Westview Park, Sands Drive Park, and Downtown Square

Thank you for your interest in our city parks! They are for you to enjoy.

If you would like to use our city parks for an event such as a birthday party, family reunion, community event, etc., that is larger than 25 in attendance, you will need to fill out a City Park Reservation Form and submit it to the Chamber of Commerce at 119 West Washington Street. You must obtain prior approval before using the parks.

To use Funderburg, Westview, and Sands Drive Park for an event smaller than 25 in attendance, the city parks are on a first come – first serve basis.

If your event is over 50 in attendance, Mayor and Council will need to approve your park request. Please submit your request to City Hall one to two months prior to your event. Thank you.
