City Residents

Residents of Monticello are served by the city for electricity, water, sewer, gas, and garbage. City Hall is open Monday through Friday  from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and is located at 123 West Washington Street.

Deposits are required and vary depending on the number of services provided at a property. Charges for services are billed by the city the first of each month and the due date is the 15th of each month.

Debit or Credit Card Payments

**There is a non refundable convenience fee for the use of a credit/debit card transaction in person, online, and over the phone. In person and over the phone the fee is $5.90 and online it is 2.95% of the payment with a minimum fee of$2.50. 

Bank Draft Payments

If you are interested in setting up Automatic Clearing House drafts for your utility bill for the City of Monticello, please complete the above form and submit with a voided check. The first month you are set up for ACH draft will act as a dry run to verify account information is correct; payments will begin drafting the second month.

**Please note that you will need to make a payment on your next utility bill for the City of Monticello once you have submitted your ACH application and a voided check.
