NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Mayor and Council of the City of Monticello will conduct a public hearing on the
following item at the regular meeting of the Mayor and City Council at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday,
August 11, 2020, in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 123 W. Washington Street,
Monticello, GA 31064:
Application 2020Z-001 by Development Authority of Jasper County to request a zoning map
amendment for 825 Eatonton Street from R20 (Residential District) to IO (Institutional Office
District). The parcel is shown on tax map M05D parcel 114.
Individuals with disabilities who require certain accommodations in order to allow them to
observe and/or participate in this meeting, or who have questions regarding the accessibility
of the meeting or the facilities are required to contact the City Manager at least 24 hours in

BUDGET REVIEW & ADOPTION
(July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021)
PUBLIC HEARING ON FY21 BUDGET: A Public Hearing on the FY21 Budget is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 6 PM in the Council Chambers in City Hall located at 123 West Washington Street. At this meeting, the Mayor and Council will receive both written and oral comments about the Annual Operating and Capital Budget for the City of Monticello.
RECOMMENDED BUDGET AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW: The FY21 Recommended Budget will be available for public inspection by contacting City Hall at (706) 468-6062 during normal office hours beginning Thursday, June 4, 2020.
BUDGET ADOPTION: The Council of the City of Monticello is scheduled to adopt the FY21 Budget at its regular meeting beginning 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in the City Hall Chambers located at 123 West Washington Street, Monticello, Georgia, 31064.

Current 2019 Tax Digest and 5 Year History of Levy
The City of Monticello governing authority does hereby announce that the millage rate will be set at a meeting to be held at the City of Monticello Council Chambers, 123 W Washington Street, on June 4, 2019 beginning at 6:00 pm and pursuant to the requirements of OCGA 48-5-32 does hereby publish the following presentation of the current year’s tax digest and levy along with the history of the tax digest for the past five years the 11th of June, 2019 beginning at 6pm.
